Kellogg's In Egypt Contributes In COVID-19 Hunger Relief Campaign

As the Coronavirus spreads and the lockdown was imposed in Egypt starting March 2020, we realized that the labour class was strongly affected, and their incomes stopped due to the crisis. Since the crisis and the lockdown we teamed up with our strategic partner Egyptian Food Bank to support the labour class and their families by donating and delivering our products to their homes.

Egyptian Food Bank initiated daily labour challenge, where most of the CEOs of the private sector from various fields stepped up and started calling each other to donate money for this stellar cause. Corporate competition was put aside for the greater good; “it was evident that there is a heart inside the machines”. Kellogg’s in Egypt, the owner of BiscoMisr accepted the challenge and successfully supported 20,000 families of daily labours.
