BiscoMisr and Temmy’s, two iconic brands from the Egyptian business of the global food industry leader Kellogg, are sponsoring the 2019 African Cup of Nations. BiscoMisr launched its limited edition product “Cocoa Lovers Crispy Bar” in celebration of the tournament, while Temmy’s is the breakfast provider for all AFCON teams with “Champs Breakfast”. 

“Sponsoring the 2019 African Cup of Nations is an honor we share with our partners, employees across the region and with millions of football fans around the world,” said Amr Farghal, Vice President and Managing Director, Kellogg MENAT (Middle East, North Africa and Turkey). “For more than 60 years, BiscoMisr has been an integral part of the Egyptian community embodying our commitment to invest in people and building on our legacy of providing much-needed energy snacks to school students back in 1960s. Today, we reassert our commitment to the Egyptians by supporting millions of loyal fans and the national team in their quest for victory.”

To kick off 2019 AFCON sponsorship in style, Cocoa Lovers and Temmy’s have launched a number of activities across its social media platforms to give Egyptian fans the opportunity to win tickets to upcoming games, a huge sampling event at the stadium as well as special booths and unique giveaways for all customers. On the stakeholder side, BiscoMisr and Temmy’s hosted a special event for distributors and partners that was attended by the CEO of BiscoMisr and Massfood companies, the leadership team of both companies, more than 100 of the top wholesale traders in the local market, BiscoMisr and Temmy’s employees and selected leading sports figures.

Egypt stunned the world with a breathtaking opening ceremony that attracted the global attention. Egypt is hosting 24 competing teams in six stadiums in four different Egyptian cities.
